We are currently seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic individual to join our technical sales team in Shakopee, MN. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team supporting software customers. M4 Engineering is looking to hire an experienced IT support specialist.
Responsibilities:
– Provide excellent customer support by answering customer inquiries in a timely manner and keeping customer updated until issue is resolved
– Independent research and troubleshooting to resolve software errors
– Documenting status and notes in M4 CRM and note capture tools
– Ability to effectively learn new tools and processes
– Provide customers with technical guidance through virtual meetings
– Support customer software deployments (license servers, clients)
– Analyze customer issues to find workarounds or solutions in timely manner
– Duplicate customer issues on personal environment
– Take ownership of resolution of customer issues
– Create articles and videos for future reference
Desired qualifications:
– Computer Science Degree or equivalent degree or work experience
– Programming experience in Python
– Customer support experience
– Experience troubleshooting software installation issues
– Licensing experience (FlexLM, RLM, etc.)
– Linux, Windows, Mac OS experience
– Database experience (SQL, oracle)
– Networking experience
– TeamCenter or other PLM system experience
– CAD, CAE software experience

- US Citizen or permanent residents ONLY
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
