Job Information

M4 Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a newly created inside sales position designed to increase the number of sales qualified leads primarily for engineering software but also services. The goal of the position is to open relationships with new companies through a combination of phone calls, emails, and other communication methods.

M4 is seeking a smart, energetic and outgoing SDR help while working in a highly technical B2B software development/engineering environment. SDRs are sought to perform the following tasks:

Sales (90%)

  • Enter and manage tasks related to our sales process/opportunities
  • Interact with internal and external customers via phone, email and in person
  • Help develop Sales Development Rep (SDR) position
  • Generate leads from new companies that M4 hasn’t previously worked with
  • Grow pipeline with software and services opportunities
  • Turn touches into meetings with sales team
  • Develop scripts and talking points for M4 specialties/capabilities
  • Develop lead nurturing, sequences, workflows, email templates in Hubspot
  • Meet and exceed sales goals and targets regularly

Marketing (10%)

  • Drive participation in events
    • Contact and follow up with individuals to participate in our marketing events
    • Generate Save-the-Date, landing pages, and CTA templates to drive attendance
  • Surveys
    • Generate and distribute customer interest surveys to better target individuals in CRM
  • Event Support
    • Webinars
    • Seminars
    • Trade shows/conferences
    • Workshops


  • Strong Sales aptitude as demonstrated in work performance
  • Ability to think on your feet, improvise and follow directions

  • Bachelors Degree
  • US Citizen or permanent resident
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Adobe Creative Suite tools experience is a plus
  • Programming experience is a plus
